POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Journeyman-Level Carpenter
Pay Rate: $25 - $30
Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Perform all tasks associated with a carpenter’s helper.
• Operate lull, boom lift, and scissor lifts.
• Assemble and install various types of formwork.
• Read basic blueprints, including dimensions and elevations.
• Use lasers for plumbing wall layout.
• Direct and manage assigned laborers, helpers, and carpenters.
• Signal cranes using hand signals and English verbal signals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
• Bring and use appropriate carpentry tools, including a framing square, crescent wrench, mag float, 100-foot tape measure, and construction calculator.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Respond promptly throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain a consistent record of dependable work.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are helpful.
