POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Carpenter
Pay Rate: $25 - $30
Location: Tampa, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, starting at 7:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Assemble and install various types of formwork.
• Operate lull, boom lifts, and scissor lifts safely and effectively.
• Read basic blueprints to identify dimensions and elevations.
• Use lasers for plumbing walls.
• Direct and manage one to three assigned laborers, helpers, or carpenters.
• Signal cranes using standard hand signals and English verbal signals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide).
• Demonstrated ability to perform carpenter helper tasks and skilled carpentry work.
• Ability to report to work reliably each day and arrive on time.
• Must have appropriate hand tools, including a framing square, crescent wrench, mag float, 100-foot tape measure, and construction calculator.
• Responsive throughout the hiring process.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Commercial construction experience with a strong, consistent work history.
• Practical experience interpreting construction blueprints and elevations.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work the required five-day schedule and 8-hour shifts.
