CCS Construction Staffing is seeking Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanics with at least 7 years of commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience for an upcoming project in Brownsville, TX. We are hiring Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanics who can fabricate and install duct systems and components on active commercial jobsites. If you are a skilled Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanic with at least 7 years of experience and you take pride in your craft, we want to speak with you.

Position Details

• Full time opportunity

• Minimum 40 hours per week

• Commercial construction environment

• Team based jobsite

Scope of Work

• Install fire dampers on duct systems

• Install grills and collars

• Fabricate and install duct transitions

• Install all types of duct systems

• Read and interpret blueprints

• Maintain clean and safe work areas

We are hiring Journeyman HVAC/Sheet Metal Mechanics with at least 7 years of commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience who can work without supervision and keep production moving on commercial projects.

Requirements

• Minimum at least 7 years of commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience

• Experience installing fire dampers, grills, and collars

• Experience fabricating and installing transitions

• Experience installing all types of duct

• Ability to read blueprints and work independently

• Own basic hand tools for sheet metal work

• Ability to commit to at least 40 hours per week

• Ability to work in a team on a jobsite

• Remain drug free on the jobsite

• Reliable transportation
