Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Technicians for a commercial project in Tampa, FL. We’re looking for dependable sheet metal journeymen who can work under the direction of a foreman to build and install duct systems. The project will be completed in phases — starting with ductwork, then moving to equipment installation.

Work Scope Includes:

• First wave: Installing duct board with flex duct runs

• Building and installing duct plenums at the direction of the foreman

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and layouts

• Following project specifications for both ductwork and equipment installation

• Work will run in 2-week waves — ductwork first, then equipment

• Maintaining a safe and clean work area while following all site safety protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial sheet metal installation experience

• Proven experience building duct plenums and working with duct board and flex duct

• Must have own sheet metal tools, hand tools, and full PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses, work boots)

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

• Ability to work under the direction of a foreman and follow instructions
