CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Plumbers and Plumbing Apprentices for an immediate commercial healthcare project in Fayetteville, NC. We are seeking dependable plumbing professionals with commercial experience who can work from drawings, assist with layout, and complete plumbing installations safely and efficiently. This position is working in an active hospital construction environment where quality workmanship, communication, and teamwork are essential.

POSITION DETAILS

Job Title: Plumber / Plumbing Apprentice

Pay Rate: Plumber: $25–$29/hour | Apprentice: $21–$25/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time | Project-Based
Schedule: 5x8s | 40 Hours Per Week
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK

• Read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing plans
• Lay out and install commercial plumbing systems
• Perform underground and above-ground plumbing installation
• Install domestic water, waste, vent, and related piping systems
• Measure, cut, fit, and install piping accurately
• Install hangers, supports, sleeves, and penetrations
• Perform commercial plumbing rough-in and installation work
• Identify installation issues and communicate them to site supervision
• Coordinate work with other plumbing crew members and trades
• Maintain quality workmanship appropriate for an active hospital construction environment
• PL3 Mechanics may be responsible for directing and keeping assigned Apprentices productive throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial plumbing experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing plans
• Commercial plumbing installation experience
• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a team environment
• 9-panel drug screen required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety training (CCS will provide)
• Lift and fall-protection certifications required as applicable
• Must complete Cape Fear jobsite orientation, including an approximately 20-minute orientation video
• Standard construction PPE required
• Must be able to communicate effectively with site supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Spanish-speaking candidates must have a reliable bilingual communication option available
