POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanics and Helpers
Pay Rate: $20-$28
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 5 8-hour days, 6:30 am start
Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and layouts
• Layout and install commercial ductwork systems
• Assemble duct sections, fittings, transitions, and connections
• Install hangers, supports, and sheet metal components
• Perform field measurements and make adjustments as needed
• Direct Apprentice/Helper and maintain productivity
• Coordinate installation around other MEP trades
• Identify and communicate field conflicts to project supervision

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
• Commercial HVAC / sheet metal installation experience required
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret plans
• Lift and fall-protection certifications as applicable
• Standard PPE required
• Must complete Cape Fear jobsite orientation, including approximately 20-minute orientation video
• Effective communication with site supervision required
• Spanish-speaking candidates should only be submitted when there is a reliable bilingual communication option available
