POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Journeyman Electricians
Pay Rate: $35.50/hr
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 4 ten-hour days and 2 eight-hour days, starting at 6:00 AM
Start Date: ASAP
Per Diem: Not specified

SCOPE OF WORK
• Install conduit systems and cable tray
• Install switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, RPPs, generators, and other distribution equipment
• Install grounding and bonding systems
• Pull and route feeder, branch, and control wiring
• Perform conductor and equipment terminations
• Test electrical systems and circuits
• Read electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• Assist with startup, testing, commissioning, and energization activities
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools
• Identify and resolve installation issues in the field
• Maintain NEC, client, and project quality standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and project teams
• Mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians
• Participate in daily safety meetings and JHAs

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical experience
• Journeyman Electrician license where required by jurisdiction
• Must be proficient in conduit bending and installation
• Experience with cable tray systems
• Experience with feeder installations and equipment terminations
• Strong understanding of NEC requirements
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
• Experience using multimeters, megohmmeters, and continuity testers
• Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a large project team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)

PREFERRED / HIGH-VALUE EXPERIENCE
Candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:
• Hyperscale data center construction
• Mission-critical electrical installations
• UPS systems and backup generator systems
• Medium-voltage distribution and switchgear
• Transformers, PDUs, and RPPs

• Electrical commissioning and turnover
• BIM/VDC-driven construction
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms
• Use lifts and fall protection as required
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
• Work safely in an active construction environment

Candidates must confidently bend conduit, read electrical prints, install cable tray, and work 56 hours per week. Attendance at the hiring event in Charlotte on Thursday, September 10 at 9:00 AM is required. Prepare to complete a conduit bend test and participate in a brief interview to be approved for the project.
