CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Industrial Torch Cutters / Welder Helpers for a project in Elgin, SC.

This position is heavily focused on torch cutting, burning, demolition, and removal work. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using torch/burning equipment to cut out existing industrial piping and equipment. This is not a high-level production welding position.

Job Duties:

• Use torch/burning equipment to cut and remove existing piping
• Demo and remove piping, tanks, and other industrial equipment
• Cut carbon steel and stainless steel piping
• Load demolished piping and equipment onto trucks for removal
• Perform Stick and TIG welding as needed
• Assist with general industrial demolition and cleanup
• Follow all site safety requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience using oxy-fuel torches, cutting torches, or burning equipment
• Industrial, pipefitting, welding, mechanical, or demolition experience preferred
• Basic Stick and TIG welding ability
• Comfortable performing physical demolition and material-removal work
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Able to work overtime as needed

Schedule:

• 4 days / 10-hour shifts
• Overtime available
• Project expected to continue through the end of the year
