CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Technician for an immediate commercial healthcare project in Fayetteville, NC. We are seeking a strong HVAC field leader who can lead mechanics and apprentices, lay out ductwork, coordinate installations, and keep the crew working safely and productively. The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial HVAC and sheet metal experience with previous leadership responsibilities.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Lead and direct daily activities for HVAC mechanics, sheet metal workers, and apprentices
• Assign work and maintain crew productivity throughout the shift
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, blueprints, and layouts
• Perform field layout for ductwork and HVAC system installations
• Oversee commercial ductwork installation and associated HVAC work
• Coordinate installation activities with other trades and field leadership
• Identify and troubleshoot installation or field issues
• Track project progress and communicate manpower and material needs
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Keep installations moving according to project schedules
• Enforce jobsite safety and quality requirements
• Maintain an organized and productive work area

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 years of commercial HVAC/sheet metal experience
• Previous Lead, Foreman, or similar leadership experience preferred
• Strong commercial ductwork installation and layout knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings and specifications
• Ability to effectively lead mechanics and apprentices
• Strong field troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Healthcare construction experience preferred
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety training (CCS will provide)
• Lift and fall-protection certifications preferred
• Required HVAC/sheet metal hand tools and PPE
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong leadership skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, field leadership, and other trades
