Work Scope

Pipefitter will be working on commercial mechanical piping systems in Atlanta, GA.

Duties include:

• Soldering copper pipe

• Welding carbon steel pipe (SMAW welding process)

• Installing and assembling mechanical piping systems

• Rigging pipe and equipment

• Working with heavy equipment and valves

• Performing overhead work using chain hoists

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and isometric drawings

• Coordinating with welding and mechanical crews

• Maintaining productivity and strict jobsite safety standards

Commercial Pipefitter Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial pipefitting experience REQUIRED

• Experience soldering copper and welding carbon steel pipe

• Proficient in SMAW welding

• Experience with rigging and overhead piping installations

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints

• Must bring required pipefitting tools

• Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)

• Drug test REQUIRED

• Background check REQUIRED

• Reliable transportation required

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
