Work Scope
This position supports electrical wiring duties in a commercial/industrial/institutional (healthcare) setting with relatively little supervision. The primary focus will be underground duct bank work for a hospital expansion.

Duties include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings

• Installing conduit and cable tray

• Coordinating and assisting with large cable pulls

• Assisting with installation of switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, fire alarm, and control systems

• Working with large PVC duct banks

• Performing large conduit runs and large wire pulls

• Assisting with setting manholes

• Performing other electrical duties related to general construction operations

Commercial Electrician Requirements

• 3rd-Year Apprentice REQUIRED

• TDLR Card on file REQUIRED

• Commercial/industrial electrical experience required

• Healthcare project experience is a plus

• Experience with underground duct banks

• Experience with large PVC, large conduit runs, and large wire pulls

• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow direction

• Must bring all required electrical hand tools

• Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)

• Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

• Reliable transportation required

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
