Pipefitter – Carbon Steel (Commercial Project)
Location: Nashville, TN

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Pipefitters for a commercial project in Nashville, TN. This position involves installing and fitting large-diameter carbon steel piping (10", 12", and 14"). Candidates must be skilled in layout, fit-up, and working safely on an active commercial jobsite.

Position Overview:
Pipefitters will be responsible for fitting, aligning, and installing carbon steel piping systems according to project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit, assemble, and install 10", 12", and 14" carbon steel piping systems.

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and mechanical plans.

• Measure, cut, bevel, and prep pipe for welding.

• Perform accurate layout and fit-up for tack and weld operations.

• Install pipe supports, hangers, and related hardware.

• Assist with pressure testing and system checks as required.

• Work safely around cranes, lifts, and rigging equipment.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all jobsite safety rules.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial or industrial pipefitting experience.

• Proven experience fitting large-diameter carbon steel pipe.

• Ability to read and understand isometric and mechanical drawings.

• Must have basic pipefitting hand tools.

• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Must pass drug screen and background check.

• Standard PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots).
