CCS Construction Staffing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Pensacola, FL. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned plumbing professional who can oversee field operations, manage installations, and ensure projects are executed correctly, safely, and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

The Plumbing Project Manager will oversee commercial plumbing operations in the field, including:

• Overseeing day-to-day field plumbing operations
• Layout and installation oversight of:
– Drainage systems
– Water distribution piping
– Natural gas piping
• Reviewing plans and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability
• Assisting with quality control of plumbing installations
• Ensuring work is performed according to code, plans, and specifications
• Coordinating with crews to maintain productivity and quality
• Communicating issues, progress, and needs clearly with leadership
• Supporting project execution from a field-focused leadership position

Technical & Software Skills

• Comfortable using Outlook for communication
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to review and accurately interpret construction schedules (not required to create schedules)
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings
• Familiarity with construction software such as Procore or Bluebeam is a plus

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years of plumbing field experience
• Prior leadership experience running projects with minimal oversight
• Strong hands-on plumbing background — not a purely office-based role
• Physically capable and comfortable in a field-intensive environment
• Willing and able to travel regionally as needed
• Honest and accurate representation of skills and experience (no resume “fluff”)
• Professional, dependable, and accountable leadership style
