Pay Rate:

Work Scope:
Commercial Electricians will be working at a large hog operation, primarily outdoors or inside unheated barns.

Responsibilities include:
• Electrical work in agricultural / industrial facilities
• Panel installation and terminations
• PVC conduit installation and bending
• Wire pulls and terminations
• Working in cold-weather conditions for extended periods
• Following all site safety and biosecurity requirements

Work Environment Notes:
• Majority of work is outside or in unheated barns
• Candidates must supply cold-weather gear, including:
– Insulated bibs / warm clothing
– Muck boots
– Hats and gloves
• In addition to cold-weather PPE, electricians must also have:
– Hard hat
– Safety glasses
– Steel-toe boots

Journeyman Electrician Requirements:
• Commercial / industrial journeyman-level electrical experience required
• Strong experience with panels, PVC conduit, and terminations
• Comfortable working in cold, outdoor, and agricultural environments
• Must bring all required electrical hand tools
• Must bring standard PPE plus cold-weather PPE
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and safety awareness
