Work Scope:
HVAC Mechanics will be working on a school project in Birmingham, AL, assisting with outdoor HVAC installation work, including thermaduct systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Assisting with and installing thermaduct systems
• Performing HVAC duct installation (square, spiral, flex)
• Working primarily outdoors
• Reading and interpreting HVAC prints and layout plans
• Installing supports, hangers, and hardware
• Assisting with rough-in through finish phases
• Maintaining jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism

Journeyman HVAC Mechanic Requirements:
• 4–5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
• Experience working with or assisting with thermaduct
• Ability to read and understand HVAC plans and mechanical drawings
• Must provide own HVAC tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong craftsmanship, work ethic, and safety awareness
