Work Scope Includes
• Setting up and operating manual milling machines
• Running manual lathes for turning, facing, threading, and part finishing
• Using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and precision tools to ±.0005" tolerance
• Reading drawings, verifying dimensions, and ensuring part quality
• Performing basic machine maintenance and shop safety procedures
• Brazing and welding tasks as needed
• Communicating clearly with supervisors and working effectively in a team environment

Requirements for Manual Machinists
• Experience operating manual milling machines and manual lathes
• Ability to hold tight tolerances (.0005") using precision measurement tools
• Background in welding and brazing required
• Must have strong blueprint reading and part verification skills
• Must follow all shop safety protocols
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Clean background — no violent crimes or felonies
• Ability to commit to 40 hours/week and maintain a drug-free workplace
