Work Scope:
The Med Gas Plumber will be working on a commercial facility project in Bluffton, SC, focusing heavily on medical gas systems. Candidates must be skilled, detail-oriented, and compliant with all med gas installation standards.

Responsibilities include:
• Installing and servicing medical gas piping systems
• Performing purges, blowdowns, pressure tests, and brazing
• Pulling wire for alarms and system monitoring
• Installing and servicing zone valves, area alarms, and master alarms
• Reading and interpreting med gas and plumbing drawings
• Completing all work to NFPA 99 standards
• Coordinating with site supervisors and maintaining strict safety and quality control
• Submitting valid/current Med Gas Certification prior to starting

Journeyman Med Gas Plumber Requirements:
• Valid and current Med Gas Certification (required)
• Must submit certification for approval before starting
• Strong commercial plumbing experience with medical gas systems
• Skilled in brazing, purging, blowdowns, and running med gas piping
• Knowledge of zone valves, alarms, and system wiring
• Must provide own med gas–approved tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong focus on safety, precision, and professionalism
