Pipefitters – Industrial / Marine

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring skilled Pipefitters for long-term industrial and marine projects in Virginia Beach. This project offers steady work, consistent hours, and the opportunity to work with a highly respected contractor.

Job Responsibilities:

• Layout, install, and fit piping systems for industrial and marine applications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics.

• Fabricate, thread, bend, and prep carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel pipe.

• Set and align pipe for weld, ensuring correct measurements and tolerances.

• Install supports, hangers, valves, and specialty fittings.

• Work safely in industrial and shipyard environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of pipefitting experience in industrial, shipyard, or marine settings.

• Ability to read pipe drawings and take accurate measurements.

• Experience prepping pipe for welding (beveling, cutting, grinding, marking, etc.).

• Must have basic tools, PPE, and reliable transportation.

• Comfortable working in elevated or confined areas as needed.
