Construction General Superintendent – Restaurant Projects (Charlotte, NC Area)

Full-Time | Direct Hire | $75,000 – $90,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role

We’re seeking a Construction General Superintendent to oversee multiple restaurant construction projects throughout the greater Charlotte area. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent pay, stability, and a long-term career path with a growing, reputable construction firm.

You’ll be responsible for leading crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality and safety across all job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise construction crews on multiple projects simultaneously.

• Manage work schedules, track progress, and allocate resources efficiently.

• Develop and maintain 3-week lookahead schedules and master project schedules.

• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and vendors to maintain budgets and deadlines.

• Prepare cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials.

• Coordinate materials and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers.

• Maintain daily job logs and communicate progress to management.

• Manage jobsite safety and compliance at all times.

• Implement and oversee Quality Control (QC) procedures — review design and material submittals.

• Adapt operations to meet construction timelines effectively.

• Utilize cost-effective management techniques to enhance project success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent or Lead Foreman role.

• Background in restaurant or retail construction strongly preferred.

• Proven experience managing multiple active projects and coordinating subcontractors.

• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications.

• Strong safety record and familiarity with OSHA standards.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 annually (DOE)
