Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Charlotte, NC)

Position Overview

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple commercial projects throughout Charlotte. You’ll manage budgets, lead teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest standard of safety and quality.

You’ll serve as the key liaison between clients, contractors, and stakeholders — keeping communication clear, expectations aligned, and progress measurable every step of the way.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan & Execute: Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.

  • Lead Teams: Mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers to deliver best-in-class results.

  • Financial Oversight: Track budgets, approve invoices, and manage change orders to ensure profitability.

  • Client Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for owners and design teams.

  • Quality & Compliance: Guarantee all work meets building codes, safety standards, and client expectations.

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing large commercial projects.

  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management expertise.

  • Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).

  • OSHA 30 and/or PMP certification preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience)
