Site Superintendent / Field Supervisor – Construction Oversight

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Site Superintendent / Field Supervisor to oversee daily onsite activities and ensure subcontractor performance aligns with project specifications and client expectations. The ideal candidate will serve as the on-site representative, maintaining consistent communication with both the Project Manager (Yorkshire) and the client (NPS) while ensuring safety, quality, and progress standards are met.

This position requires a professional who can take ownership of the site, monitor ongoing work, and uphold the highest standards of construction quality and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage subcontractor activities to ensure work meets all project specifications and quality requirements.

  • Maintain daily onsite presence, monitoring safety, progress, and workmanship.

  • Communicate and coordinate regularly with the Project Manager and client representatives to provide updates and address site issues.

  • Complete and submit daily and weekly Quality Control (QC) reports using the provided two-page template.

  • Identify and resolve field issues in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure compliance with project safety policies and promote safe work practices at all times.

  • Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner when interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction supervision, site management, or crew leadership.

  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Professional demeanor with the ability to liaise effectively between the field, project management, and clients.

  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and site documentation.

  • Relevant certifications (OSHA 15/30, First Aid, etc.) are a plus.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time, onsite role – daily presence on the project site required.

  • May involve coordination with multiple subcontractors and client representatives throughout the workday.
