Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Experienced HVAC Mechanics for a commercial retail build in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and highly skilled — able to work in a lift, install sheet metal and insulation, and operate with zero supervision. Only qualified and experienced mechanics who can deliver quality work independently will be considered.

Work Scope Includes:

• Installing and hanging sheet metal ductwork

• Insulating ductwork and sealing connections

• Operating and working safely from a lift

• Reading and interpreting blueprints

• Following all site safety requirements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience required

• Must be able to work in a lift and follow lift safety procedures

• Must be capable of working without supervision — strong skill and reliability required

• Must have own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

• Must be dependable, self-motivated, and safety-focused

• Reliable transportation required

• Background check and drug test required before start

Please Note: Experienced HVAC Mechanics must be capable of working independently, operating lifts, and installing sheet metal and insulation safely and efficiently on a commercial retail project. Long-term candidates strongly preferred.
