Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Experienced Pipe Welders for a ground-up school project in Plano, TX. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to pass a weld test. We are specifically seeking welders who are 6G Certified—capable of welding at a fixed 45-degree angle on pipe, requiring mastery of all welding positions (horizontal, vertical, and overhead). Work may include welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum piping.

Work Scope Includes:

• Performing 6G certified pipe welding on various materials

• Welding in all positions: horizontal, vertical, and overhead

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols

• Using proper safety procedures and maintaining high-quality welds

• Supporting crews on a school construction project

• Following all site safety requirements

Requirements:

• 6G Welding Certification required (carbon steel, stainless, or aluminum)

• Must be able to pass a weld test prior to starting

• 5+ years of commercial/industrial pipe welding experience preferred

• Must have own welding gear, tools, and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

• Reliable transportation required

• Background check required

• Drug test clearance required before start
