Work Scope:
Commercial HVAC Mechanic Top Helpers will be working on multiple commercial projects throughout the San Antonio, TX area.
This position involves assisting with sheet metal duct installation, assembling hangers, and supporting HVAC equipment installation. Candidates must have basic hand tools and sheet metal knowledge and show a willingness to move between active projects as needed across the San Antonio area. Helpers should be able to take direction from lead mechanics, maintain productivity, and uphold safety and quality standards on every site.

HVAC Mechanic Top Helper Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of commercial HVAC or sheet metal experience
• Familiar with duct installation, layout, and hanger systems
• Must have basic hand tools and sheet metal knowledge
• Willingness to travel between multiple active project sites in San Antonio
• Ability to read and follow directions from journeyman mechanics or foremen
• Must provide own PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsites
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
