Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced HVAC Mechanics for commercial projects in Tampa, FL. Candidates will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing ductwork systems for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. Work often requires the ability to read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and potentially weld or solder. We’re looking for dependable mechanics with proven commercial HVAC experience who can perform installs safely and efficiently.

Work Scope Includes:

• Fabricating, installing, and repairing HVAC ductwork systems

• Using hand and power tools to cut, assemble, and secure duct

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to lay out systems

• Installing hangers, supports, RTUs, and HVAC equipment

• Potential welding or soldering on duct and fittings

• Supporting HVAC crews on active commercial projects

• Following all site safety requirements

Requirements:

• Proven commercial HVAC experience required

• Ability to fabricate, install, and repair duct systems

• Must be able to read blueprints and work independently

• Welding/soldering experience a plus

• Must have own basic hand tools (larger tools provided as needed)

• Standard PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

• Reliable transportation

• Background check and drug test required before start
