Job Overview:

CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring a Lead Plumber for a commercial project in Melbourne, FL. This is a supervisory role ideal for a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills and a deep knowledge of plumbing codes. This is a less hands-on role focused more on managing a crew and overseeing project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 5–6 plumbers on-site

• Review and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics

• Ensure proper installation procedures and code compliance

• Coordinate jobsite activities and maintain safety standards

• Submit time approvals and coordinate material orders through HPS

• Collaborate with project managers and other trades as needed

• Serve as the point of contact for plumbing-related tasks and issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading plumbing crews on commercial projects

• Strong understanding of current plumbing codes and compliance standards

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Must have own hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, vest, steel-toe boots)

• OSHA 10 preferred (certification assistance available)

• Reliable transportation

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
