Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced electricians for a commercial project in Vincennes, IN. This role involves installing and servicing access points (APs) and related Cat6A cabling in a large post office facility. Candidates must be comfortable with elevated work on lifts or ladders and following precise installation requirements.

Work Scope Includes:

• Install access points (APs) throughout the main post office using various mounting methods

• Perform elevated work from lifts and/or ladders to accommodate ceiling heights ranging from 9’ to 30’

• Mount APs using threaded rod to achieve specified suspension heights (15’ AGL, below drop ceiling)

• Install ceiling-mounted APs where required

• Install, support, and connect Cat6A cabling to service all APs

• Install and terminate a new 24-port Cat6A patch panel

• Install a 6RU pocket rack

• Test all cable runs using Fluke DSX-5000 Versiv or Versiv II equipment

• Follow all jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical or low-voltage experience

• Proficient with Cat6A cabling, AP installation, and patch panel terminations

• Must be comfortable with elevated work using lifts/ladders

• Must have own hand tools and full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, high-vis vest, gloves, steel-toe boots)

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

• Ability to read prints and follow detailed instructions
