Now Hiring: HVAC Technician – Houston, TX (Ductwork Fabrication & Welding)

CCS Construction Staffing is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Technician in Houston, TX with combined experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding. This is a hands-on role ideal for a technician who can fabricate and install ductwork from blueprint to installation.

Scope of Work:

• Fabricate and install galvanized steel or aluminum ductwork

• MIG and/or TIG weld galvanized steel and occasionally aluminum

• Cut, shape, and form sheet metal into ducts, vents, and fittings

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Assemble and install custom-fabricated duct systems

• Collaborate with team leads to ensure high-quality installations

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sheet metal fabrication and HVAC ductwork installation

• Strong MIG/TIG welding skills (especially on galvanized steel)

• OSHA 10 certification and drug test required before starting (OSHA 10 available free through CCS if needed)

• Must complete an in-person interview and welding test before hire

• Must have your own basic tools and PPE

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
