CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring high-level Sheet Metal Mechanics/HVAC Duct Installers for a commercial project in Harker Heights, TX. We’re looking for experienced professionals with advanced mechanical skills who can install ductwork, hang hangers, and assist with hood and fan installation for industrial kitchen equipment.

This is professional & straightforward work—you’ll work one-on-one with a recruiter who’s invested in your success.

Job Duties:

• Ductwork Installation: Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ducts per blueprints and specifications

• Hood & Fan Installation: Assist with installation of kitchen exhaust systems and industrial fans

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately

• Fabrication: Use hand and power tools—including plasma cutters, brakes, and shears—to cut and shape sheet metal

• Sealing & Insulating: Apply sealants and insulation to ensure air-tight and energy-efficient duct systems

• Hanger Installation: Hang and secure duct systems using proper supports and methods

Requirements:

• Several years of commercial HVAC/sheet metal installation experience

• Must have own tools and full PPE

• Ability to work independently and with a team

• Familiarity with OSHA standards; OSHA-10 certification preferred but not required

• Reliable transportation and punctuality

• No training provided – experienced and certified mechanics only
