Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics for a commercial project in Houston, TX. This role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC ductwork and installation. Mechanics must also have their own tools. The scope includes running duct, setting curbs, and installing rooftop units. For those open to travel, additional work is lined up in Corpus Christi, offering consistent opportunities throughout the summer.

Work Scope:

• Run and install rectangular, spiral, and flex ductwork

• Set curbs and place HVAC rooftop units (RTUs)

• Read and follow mechanical drawings and blueprints

• Work independently or with a team to meet deadlines

• Ensure all work complies with jobsite safety and code requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of sheet metal/HVAC duct experience

• Must bring own hand tools for ductwork installation

• Must wear full PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, steel-toe boots)

• Willingness to travel to Corpus Christi for future assignments is a plus

• Reliable transportation and a strong, consistent work ethic
