CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring a Combo Pipefitter Foreman for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area. We’re looking for a seasoned leader to oversee a 15-person crew of fitters, apprentices, and welders on a high-profile commercial project. Position Overview:

This role requires hands-on leadership, blueprint reading, scheduling, and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years of pipefitting and welding experience, with 2+ years in a foreman-level role, and holds a 6G welding certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision:

• Manage, train, and supervise a team of pipefitters, apprentices, and helpers

• Assign daily tasks and ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution

• Serve as liaison between the team, client, and project managers

Quality Control & Safety:

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks

• Ensure all work meets code and regulatory standards

• Monitor PPE use and maintain jobsite safety compliance

Project Oversight:

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and technical plans

• Oversee layout, install, maintenance, and repair of piping systems

• Maintain material inventory, manage schedules, and minimize delays

Troubleshooting & Collaboration:

• Inspect and verify quality of welding and fitting

• Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively

• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth project flow

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in pipefitting and welding (combo role)

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in commercial construction

• 6G welding certification required

• Must be able to lead and manage teams of 15+ workers

• Proficient in blueprint reading, layout, threading, and joining pipe

• OSHA 10 or higher preferred

• Must pass a drug test, background check, MVR, and sex offender screening

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and own hand tools
