Work Scope:
Description: Commercial HVAC Mechanics will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Work includes interpreting blueprints, cutting and assembling sheet metal, and using both hand and power tools safely and effectively. Candidates should have experience working with a variety of materials such as galvanized steel, aluminum, and flex duct and may be required to weld, braze, or solder components as needed to ensure system integrity and performance.

Mechanics should be able to read HVAC plans, measure and lay out duct runs, install hangers and supports, and perform precise, code-compliant installations. Strong knowledge of airflow principles, duct sizing, and proper sealing techniques is essential.

HVAC Mechanic Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience
• Skilled in duct fabrication, assembly, and installation
• Experience with sheet metal tools, brakes, shears, and layout measuring
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
• Must pass any required background checks or drug screenings
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and craftsmanship
