Experienced HVAC Mechanics | Hospital Project – Uvalde, TX

Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Experienced HVAC Mechanics for a hospital project in Uvalde, TX. Candidates must be skilled in sheet metal, copper line installation, and RTU/floor unit work. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Work Scope Includes:

• Running sheet metal, fabricating, and assembling ductwork (“bang it together”)

• Soldering and brazing copper lines

• Installing and running HVAC copper piping

• Working with RTUs (Rooftop Units) and floor units

• Reading and interpreting blueprints

• Following all site safety requirements

Tools Needed:

• Smith torch set

• Hammer

• Drill

• Tape measure

• Standard HVAC hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred

• Must have experience with sheet metal fabrication, copper line installation, and unit setting

• Must provide required tools and PPE

• Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

• Reliable transportation required

• Background check and drug test required before start
