Job Overview:
CCS Construction Staffing is now hiring Pipe Welders for a shop-based, temp-to-hire position in High Point, NC. This opportunity is ideal for welders with at least 3 years of experience or those recently out of welding school looking to gain hands-on experience in a controlled environment. You’ll be working with stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel. Welding certifications are not required, but they are considered a plus.

Work Environment:

• In-shop only – no field work required

• Clean, structured environment with long-term potential

Job Duties:

• Weld and assemble piping using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel

• Follow shop drawings, specifications, and welding procedures

• Operate welding equipment safely and accurately

• Inspect welds for structural soundness and quality

• Collaborate with shop team and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of welding experience OR recent graduate from a welding trade school

• Experience welding various metals (stainless, carbon, copper)

• Must bring basic hand tools and wear full PPE

• Welding certifications not required, but preferred

• Reliable transportation and strong attention to detail
