CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for immediate opportunities throughout the Nashville, TN metro area. We are seeking skilled commercial electricians capable of performing electrical installations, repairs, troubleshooting, and system testing with limited supervision. Candidates should have strong experience with conduit, wire pulling, terminations, electrical equipment, and blueprint reading.

Start Date: ASAP
Projects: Multiple commercial electrical projects throughout the Nashville area

SCOPE OF WORK

• Install commercial electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, and equipment
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and layouts
• Bend, cut, and install conduit
• Pull, route, and terminate electrical wiring
• Install electrical boxes, devices, fixtures, panels, and supports
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and other electrical components
• Test electrical systems and circuits for proper operation
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions
• Inspect installations for defects, safety concerns, and code compliance
• Use electrical hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, roofs, and other elevated surfaces as required
• Assist with trenching, material handling, and other installation-related activities
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Follow NEC, OSHA, and project-specific safety requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience
• Journeyman-level electrical skills and knowledge
• Strong conduit bending and installation experience
• Experience pulling wire and completing electrical terminations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, diagrams, and layouts
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe installation practices
• Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and elevated surfaces
• Ability to perform physically demanding construction work
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety training (CCS will provide)
• Reliable transportation to projects throughout the Nashville metro area
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
