6G Certified Pipe Welder – Direct Hire

CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring experienced 6G Certified Pipe Welders for a direct hire position working on a military base. We are seeking highly skilled welders who can meet strict quality and safety standards and successfully complete all requirements necessary to gain base access.

This is a strict 40-hour-per-week position for the foreseeable future due to base restrictions, paying $49.66/hour.

SCOPE OF WORK

• Perform 6G pipe welding according to project specifications and approved procedures
• Complete high-quality pipe welds in multiple positions
• Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and weld symbols
• Prepare pipe by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning materials
• Perform pipe fit-up and alignment as required
• Complete root, fill, and cap passes according to applicable procedures
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Safely operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other trade-specific equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all military base, project, and company safety requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• 6G welding certification required
• Previous pipe welding experience required
• Must be able to meet project welding standards
• Valid driver's license required
• Must pass a background check for military base access
• Must pass a drug test
• Ability to read welding drawings, specifications, and weld symbols
• Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
• Dependable attendance and professional jobsite conduct
• Ability to work the required 40-hour schedule
• Must comply with all base access, security, and safety requirements
