POSITION DETAILS
Job Title: Construction Safety Coordinator
Pay Rate: $24 - $26
Location: Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Start Date: ASAP

SCOPE OF WORK
* Walk the site to identify safety concerns including hazards related to access, ladders, lifts, and fall protection
* Monitor PPE compliance and general work practices
* Document safety observations and communicate concerns to the superintendent and project manager
* Assist with daily safety documentation, pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and worker orientations
* Help ensure subcontractor employees follow project-specific and OSHA requirements

REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of 5 years of experience required
* Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
* OSHA 30 Construction card
* Current First Aid, CPR, and AED training
* Previous commercial construction site experience
* Ability to recognize common construction hazards
* Strong attendance and reliability
* Reliable transportation to the site

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
* Experience with daily safety reports, JHAs, JSAs, or pre-task plans (preferred)
* Familiarity with fall protection, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and ladders (preferred)
