Work Scope

Mechanics will be working on commercial HVAC projects in Ft. Wayne, IN.

Duties include:

• Hanging ductwork

• Insulating ductwork

• Installing square duct and spiral duct systems

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal duct

• Reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints

• Coordinating with HVAC crews on site

• Maintaining productivity and jobsite safety standards

Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC/sheet metal experience REQUIRED

• Strong experience hanging and insulating ductwork

• Experience installing square and spiral duct systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints independently

• Must bring required sheet metal hand tools

• Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)

• Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

• Reliable transportation required

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
