Work Scope
MIG Welders will be working in a shop setting in Metairie, LA, focused on fabricating and welding ductwork.

Duties include:

• MIG welding ductwork in a shop environment

• Operating 110V MIG welders

• Welding 16-gauge material

• Fabricating duct sections per shop drawings

• Maintaining weld quality and consistency

• Keeping a clean and safe work area

Commercial MIG Welder Requirements

• Commercial MIG welding experience required

• Experience welding 16-gauge sheet metal

• Ability to follow shop drawings and fabrication instructions

• Must bring all required welding hand tools

• Must have ALL PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)

• Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

• Reliable transportation required

• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
