CCS Construction Staffing is hiring experienced 6G Pipe Welders for a ground-up school project in Plano, TX. This is a long-term opportunity for skilled welders who take pride in high-quality work and can perform certified welds on carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum pipe.

We’re seeking welders who can pass a weld test and perform consistently in all positions—horizontal, vertical, and overhead.

Work Scope Includes
• Performing 6G pipe welding at a fixed 45° angle
• Welding in all positions: overhead, vertical, and horizontal
• Working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum pipe (project dependent)
• Reading and interpreting weld symbols, drawings, and project specifications
• Supporting mechanical crews on an active school construction site
• Maintaining weld quality, accuracy, and safety at all times

Requirements
• Active 6G Pipe Welding Certification (required)
• Ability to pass a weld test before starting
• 5+ years of commercial or industrial pipe welding experience preferred
• Must supply welding hood, leathers, gloves, and full PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
