CCS Construction Staffing Wins Best Places to Work Second Year in a Row

Posted

We are happy to announce that CCS Construction has won the Best Places to Work award by the Charlotte Business Journal for the second year in a row. The CBJ’s annual Best Places to Work recognizes local companies that have struck a balance between bottom-line goals and what employees care most about — the benefits packages, policies and other perks that keep them happy, healthy and engaged in their jobs.

CBJ’s Best Places to Work Awards event honors outstanding companies whose benefits, policies and practices are among the best in the area. We are so proud to know that our company was once again named a great place to work.

The CCS team was represented by Chloe Andrews, our Human Recourses Manager, during the Award ceremony held at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Banquet Hall.

CCS Construction ranked third place for Midsized companies with 25-49 employees, with a 96.35% score. CCS Construction Staffing was honored for the benefits we offer to our team such as 401(k) match, comprehensive health package, paid time off for community service, happy hours and an On-site gym.

“Creating a great place to work starts and ends with your team. We love to have fun at CCS, whether at a monthly happy hour, while attending a basketball or baseball game, or traveling down to South Carolina as a team to participate in the Cooper River Bridge Run each year. We believe in taking care of our team and rewarding everyone’s efforts!” – Chloe Andrews, Human Resource Manager

CBJ critiqued companies not only on how fun the employees have, but also on the community involvement. This year, CCS Construction Staffing volunteered for Habitat for Humanity’s building homes, participated in Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry, sponsored No Kid Hungry Fundraiser, we hosted a can drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank, and held a toy drive for Toys-for-tots.

The event concluded with revealing the winner of the video competition.  Each company was given the opportunity to create a 30-second video clip to showcase how the company goes the extra mile to keep employees happy and engaged.  Please watch our video that was produced locally by The Video Stewards.
